About LOTRO Basics
LOTRO Basics is a guide series for the Lord of the Rings Online. Originating as a video series on my YouTube channel, the guide has evolved into this website, giving a platform to produce text/image based guides along with supplemental video guides.
The Goal of LOTRO Basics is to create valuable original guides, while also serving as a resource for external up-to-date guides and information on the game. The website has been recently relaunched in hopes of being a strong foundation as a community resource for LOTRO players new and old.

I am Louey7, and over time became a consistent content creator on YouTube, focusing on LOTRO. I enjoy making guides and instructional videos, as well as theorycrafting - especially when it comes to classes, skills, and builds. That motivated my original creation of the LOTRO Basics guide series on my YouTube channel. Although I eventually dropped the series names for my guides, I continued to improve and make more and more guides for the game!
